Dear Patients,
I am writing you concerning a very serious matter you are probably unaware of. Do you know that the Texas Medical Association has filed a lawsuit against the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, alleging that Diagnosis, MUA and Needle EMG are the practice of medicine and not within the scope of chiropractic practice? The Texas Board of Medical Examiners also is trying to take away these rights for chiropractors.
We must take action and stop organized medicine dead in its tracks in their efforts to strip away Chiropractic Scope of Practice. If not then chiropractors like myself and Dr. Stafford will lose their ability to diagnosis patients, which is the foundation for any and all treatment.
Here is what you can do to help not only us, but also the profession of chiropractic. Please sign and forward this letter to your State Senator, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General. To get your local senator or representative information you can go to www.senate.state.tx.us.
We thank you for your support as we endeavor to protect the rights of our doctors.
Dr. Malay
